Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data LoopLlama collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who we are
LoopLlama builds websites, AI receptionists and automations for businesses. For data collected through this website, LoopLlama is the data controller. Contact: admin@loopllama.co or 0728 599 135.
What we collect on this website
- Contact form: your name, phone number, and optionally your business name, email and message.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send us when you get in touch.
- Server logs: our host records IP addresses and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. Your browser stores one setting (whether you paused animations), and it never leaves your device.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to you, arrange your demo and, if you become a client, deliver our services. Our lawful bases are your consent and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We never sell your data, and we only send you marketing if you've agreed to it. You can opt out at any time.
Data we handle for our clients
When we run automations for a client business, such as answering their calls or sending reminders, that business is the data controller for its customers' data and LoopLlama acts as its data processor. We process that data only on the client's instructions, under a written agreement, and only for the services they've asked for. If you're a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business first. We'll help them respond to you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run our services: web hosting and email, WhatsApp (Meta), telephony and SMS providers, AI and voice providers, and automation and database tools. Some of them may store data outside Kenya. When they do, we use providers with appropriate safeguards, as the Act requires. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become clients are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as we provide services, plus any period the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Email admin@loopllama.co and we'll respond within the time the law allows. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable providers to protect your data. No system is perfect, and if a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the ODPC as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
